cup of tea

I happen to adore my bathtub, especially in the winter months, and because I own my own natural bath and body business I happen to have a supply of bath treats at my disposal anytime, which makes me feel luckier than lucky!  But once in a while, I need to be more creative with my bath than just ripping open a milk bath or bath fizzy, so I’ll dig through my kitchen cupboards to create my own ‘bath spa specialty of the day’.

Next time you grocery shop, take a stroll down the tea aisle and pick out a fruit flavored caffeine free tea for your next bath spa treatment.

To use your tea as a bath soak, bring 2 quarts of water to a boil, remove from heat and steep 6-8 tea bags for 30 minutes. Pour tea, bags and all, into your bath water. Grab a book, light a candle, and relaaaaaaxx!

To use your tea as a facial treatment, pour 2 cups of boiling water over 1 tea bag in a bowl; let steep for 15 minutes, remove tea bag. When mixture has cooled, use a cotton ball to freshen your face with the tea.

And don’t forget to make yourself a cup to drink while pampering yourself!
